„LET ME SHOW YOU SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL“

The gallery is Group Bouillon’s upcoming project. The mobile gallery without permanent space and location is intended to appear in various public places, exhibiting both Georgian and foreign artists, authors, activists and citizens willing to display their works in different ways, express their opinion, state their mind and, most importantly, be critical and political.

Inspiration behind the gallery is so-called hawkers, street vendors, who, in view of unemployment and poverty rates in the country, cannot afford to run their businesses legally and have to sell their goods in the streets. They occupy spaces near underground stations, on pavements, in various public and private spaces or move from place to place.

The gallery is a non-commercial project and doesn’t have its artists. It aims to create a platform for artistic expression, develop critical thinking, promote contemporary art and artists and, generally, rethink and emphasize the role of art in social and political life.

The gallery will select works with the help of experts invited on an open call basis.

გWeiterlesen: Unbenannter Beitrag 1685ალერეა ჯგუფი „ბულიონის“ მორიგი პროექტია. მას არ აქვს მუდმივი სივრცე, ადგილი, ის მოძრავია და ორ კვირაში ერთხელ გამოჩნდება საჯარო სივრცეში, სხვადასხვა ადგილას; გამოფენს ქართველ ან უცხოელ არტისტებს, მწერლებს, აქტივისტებს, მოქალაქეებს – ყველას, ვისაც სურს საჯარო სივრცეში, ფართო აუდიტორიის წინაშე სხვადასხვა ფორმით გამოფინოს ნამუშევარი, გამოხატოს აზრი, დააფიქსიროს პოზიცია, რაც მთავარია, იყოს კრიტიკული და პოლიტიკური.

გალერეის ინსპირაციის წყაროს ე.წ. არალეგალური მოვაჭრეები არიან, რომლებსაც ქვეყანაში გამეფებული უმუშევრობის და სიღარიბის გამო არ გააჩნიათ ფინანსური საშუალება ოფიციალურად აკეთონ ბიზნესი და უწევთ ქუჩაში ვაჭრობა. იკავებენ ადგილებს მეტროსადგურების წინ, ტროტუარებზე, სხვადასხვა საჯარო და კერძო სივრცეებში ან გასაყიდი პროდუქციით ადგილიდან ადგილზე გადადიან.

გალერეა არაკომერციული პროექტია, არ ჰყავს თავისი არტისტები. მისი მიზანია შემოქმედებითი გამოხატვისთვის პლატფორმის შექმნა, კრიტიკული აზრის განვითარება, თანამედროვე ხელოვნების და ხელოვანების პოპულარიზაცია და, ზოგადად, ხელოვნების (სახელმწიფოსა და საზოგადოების ცხოვრებაში) მნიშვნელობის გააზრება და წარმოჩენა.

გალერეა ნამუშევრებს ღია კონკურსის წესით მოწვეული ექსპერტების დახმარებით შეარჩევს.
